D1 My Style Album Launch: More Pictures HERE
VonD at FWD with Chef: More Pictures HERE
I got a free ticket for the Frieze Art Fair last week. I went to visit on sunday by myself and it was quite interesting. I am not a big art fan, but these events are always nice to visit. I saw lots of cools stuff.. but also lots of boring art works. The themes silver, neon type and stripfigures still seem very popular.
My favourite was the floating banana. More on FLICKR <HERE>
The DECA10 Exhibition Launch Party was a big succes! With a lot of bass music, free booze, my loved ones and lots of awesome pictures mostly covering grime and garage artists. So I was happy to represent dubstep with a picture of Magnetic Man. Here are some pozer shots from the booth and some pics I took during the launch party.

This week’s show includes an interview with the talented Alex Johnson, better know as Vector Meldrew. He is an award winning director/designer based in London. His background lies in the music industry, touring internationally as a VJ for Headhunter and creating artwork and music videos for Tectonic, Apple Pips/Ramadanman and 2562. During the interview we talk about this and also about his work for Adidas, RWD Mag and the upcoming DECA10 Exhibition next week.

A FILM ABOUT HOPE, FEAR AND DIGITAL CULTURE.
The digital revolution of the last decade has unleashed creativity and talent in an unprecedented way, with unlimited opportunities. But does democratized culture mean better art or is true talent instead drowned out? This is the question addressed by PressPausePlay, a documentary film containing interviews with some of the world’s most influential creators of the digital era.
A very interesting film about the new digital era. DOWNLOAD it for free on the website!
Another The Bassline radio show!
This week an interview with Ashes aka Delphine Ettinger. She is an illustrator and a street photographer of French origin. Delphine moved from NewYork to London in 2008. Surrounded by the city’s large music and artistic community, she was able to focus on creative projects and developed her unique line drawing style and vector graphics. She works with groundbreaking labels and club nights such as Swamp 81, Deep Medi and Hyperdub.
Enjoy!

Last month my Dutch girlies Romy / Model and Catharina Gerritsen / Photographer came to London for a party weekend. The night we went to the FWD 10th Bday on 20th of August we came up with the idea to document the whole evening with 3 crappy disposable camera’s. Result: crazy awesome flix!

I ordered new business cards on Moo.com. Its pretty awesome, because you can chose to use a variety of images for the ‘front’ of your cards using ‘Printfinity’. So you can upload as many images as you want! This way you will always have a mini portfolio in your pocket.
In October I will be taking part in a 7 days audio/visual art exhibition in the centre of Shoreditch. Celebrating 10 Years of RWD Magazine, RWD & Adidas present: DECA EXHIBITION OF UNDERGROUND LONDON CULTURE. I will be exhibiting a selection of pictures which I took in the past 4 years within the London Underground Bassmusic scene. The launch party is saturday 15th october with free entry + drinks + goodybag! Hope to see you there.
“You can’t know where you’re going until you understand where you have been; DECA sheds new light on today’s street culture through this retrospective look at the evolution of British underground music over the last 10 years. Although UK music is now an international movement, by taking it right back to its roots of East London, we aim to contextualise the journey of the last ten years into an art and music experience.”
